*****Performers*****

For performers interested in playing at the coffee house, we would be pleased to review your material. Please note the following:

The Open Door is a volunteer-run, acoustic listening room venue wishing to book acts with a wide audience appeal. We primarily feature Celtic, Bluegrass, Singer/ Songwriter, and acoustic acts.  The Coffeehouse is the second Saturday night of each month at The Welcome Table Christian Church in Arlington.  We’ve had past performers such as Trout Fishing in America, John Gorka, Sara Hickman, the Austin Lounge Lizards, Ed Miller, and many, many others.  We are a member of the North Texas Venues along with Uncle Calvin’s, Jefferson Freedom Cafe, Bone Doc’s and many other fine non-profit coffeehouses and house concert venues in this area.

To inquire about performing at the Open Door Coffeehouse, please email opendoorcoffeehouse@gmail.com with links to your press kit, resume of appearances, and current recordings.  Messages left on the reservation line will not be returned.  Also, keep in mind, no bookings will be made unless we have heard a live performance.  Keep us informed of your upcoming events in the area or at any Texas festivals such as Kerrville Folk Festival.

Along with the other area coffeehouses, we are committed to helping emerging artists and new performers develop an audience.  As you work to build a following in the area, you will first be booked as an opener, then maybe on a split bill, and finally as a headliner.

We are happy to provide out-of-town artists with private-home lodging, dinner after the show, and breakfast the next morning.
